God didn't say

God didn't say when He just said He could
God didn't say how He just said He would

God didn't say why He just said He'd always be there
God didn't say what He said I'll hear you when you pray

God didn't say who He just said whosoever which means YOU!

So many times we bring God our excuses, when He just wants us. He knows the days are hard, that people can be mean, and that sometimes we let our flesh get the better of us. That's where grace comes in and stands there ready and waiting for us to pick ourselves back up and say let's try this again!

God I'm starting to feel weak
Sweet child, it's me and you headed up this peak

God I don't want to fall
Sweet child, I'm giving you my all

God I don't like this street
Sweet child, just follow my feet

God how am I supposed to stand
Sweet child, holding my hand

God this isn't my path
Sweet child, don't make me laugh

He gave me this last week when I was "telling" Him about something. Actually, it was probably more like whining but we all get like that when the stress becomes too much. We are the ones that make the stress too much because we let it become our focus(but that's another blog in itself). His paths may not always be ours, but His promises are always true. Summer is coming and more blogs are still to come, I still have to write the one called 18 wheelers in the road ;)
